Acute care is provided at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary. This includes adults' and children's accident and emergency services, intensive care, women's and children's and a range of medical and surgical specialities. Wrightington Hospital is an elective Orthopaedic Specialist site and our Leigh Day Case unit is currently expanding its portfolio and increasing activity.
